One Brand, Five Platforms: A Consistency Checklist
June 30, 2026 · 4 min read

A customer who visits your website, then checks your Instagram, then glances at your Facebook page should never wonder if they've landed on three different businesses. That coherence — same voice, same visuals, same core message — is what turns a passive follower into someone who trusts you enough to walk through the door.
Visual consistency
Your logo, color palette, and photography style should be recognizable at a glance across your website, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. This doesn't mean every platform looks identical — TikTok is inherently more casual than LinkedIn — but the underlying brand should always be legible underneath the format.
Voice consistency
If your website copy is warm and conversational, a stiff, corporate Facebook page undercuts it. Write a short internal style guide — even three sentences describing your tone — and hold every platform to it.
Message consistency
Your value proposition shouldn't change depending on the channel. If you're "the roofing company that answers the phone in one ring" on your homepage, that same promise should show up in your Instagram bio and your Google Business Profile description.
A quick self-audit
Open your website and every social profile in separate tabs right now. If a stranger scrolled through all five in under a minute, would they describe the same business — or five loosely related ones? That answer tells you exactly where to start.
